Verdict

Dashing Dynamo ran a fine race when runner-up over a mile at Galway and was made favourite over an extra half-mile at Sligo but failed to stay the trip. This should be more to his liking but TEMASEK STAR (NAP) looks to be improving enough to gain his first success. Mick Halford's charge wasn't beaten far in a handicap over this track and trip before just failing to hold off Irish Mint at Sligo a week ago and with further progress likely he can see these rivals off. Gold Focus has a big weight but has been running well enough to consider for a place on the podium while Dundalk winner Caliso Bay has been running a bit better than her form figures suggest.
