In depth

Verdict

Colwinston was well supported on his reappearance at Down Royal three weeks ago and ran very well. He'll be difficult to keep out of the frame here. Dromrue couldn't handle the much more experienced Double Speak at Killarney but had Shouband behind and should do so again despite the lack of a recent run. CAPTAIN BARBOSSA has more of a speed pedigree than most of these and with the ground in his favour he can make a winning start for Aidan O'Brien.
