In depth

Verdict

Definite Earl is the only one of these not to have won so gets an allowance. The form of his last two runs give him an outstanding chance though he would prefer some give and a slightly longer trip. To Choose beat a huge field at Fairyhouse and was well supported to do so and he'll enjoy the conditions but Call Me Pj was beaten a long way on the Flat at the Curragh on Sunday and on his last start over timber. Ibsen took advantage of soft ground and a longer trip to score at Downpatrick and would need some rain so the vote goes to the five-year-old OFF THE MARK, a winning bumper who made an impressive hurdling debut at Kilbeggan and looks destined for better things.
