In depth

Verdict

Cloonacool showed signs of progress at Tramore but will need to improve again as will Morney Wing, who made a bright debut over a longer trip at Naas before disappointing at Thurles. Way Wild West has had plenty of chances but has been steadily improving and will be suited by the testing conditions. FORT SMITH was always up with the pace at Killarney a couple of weeks ago but couldn't cope with Ballychorus. He's disappointed on occasions when well supported and this looks an opportunity to gain compensation. Catcheragain led for a long way on her debut at Wexford and will undoubtedly have come on for the experience.
