In depth

Verdict

Sarwistan began over hurdles with a good run at Leopardstown but hasn't fulfilled that promise and has run poorly on the Flat twice this month. Mawj Tamy has also been in action on the level without showing much but had produced one very good run over timber at Navan in January. Mr Boss Man was sent over three miles on his hurdling debut at Kilbeggan ten days ago and ran very well to finish third so it's a surprise to see him dropping back dramatically in trip. Shadagann is a very good handicapper on the Flat and though looking a bit one-paced in two starts over hurdles can improve and looks a threat to all though it's about time UTMOST ZEAL was winning over hurdles. Gordon Elliott's bumper winner has undoubtedly been disappointing but this shouldn't take too much winning and it could be his day.
