KAI LI had been knocking on the door prior to a modest effort at Kilbeggan. Lar Butler's gelding may be worth another chance in a race that probably isn't as competitive as the number suggest. Brabazon ran his best race over hurdles for a while at Downpatrick last month, however, and Paul Carberry rides the top weight here while Silent Reaper kept on well with third at Listowel last week. The consistent Tough Mark also has claims but the four-year-old He Is Top Class is proving anything but and has disappointed at Down Royal since a better effort at Roscommon.
