Verdict

Foildearg gained a surprise victory in this a year ago and is 4lb lower due to moderate recent form so don't be surprised by another good run under a fine young claimer. Mighty Whitey won a 1m2f claimer at Sligo and didn't run badly in first-time blinkers at Galway while Shanrod also ran well at the Festival and will stay every yard of this trip. Princess Tuptin performed with credit at Cork last time but this is her first attempt beyond 1m4f and she was behind Cinderella Story that day and Pat Martin's mare must be a threat to all. This has been run three-times and no three-year-old has been successful but that should change here after the demolition job SEVENTH SIGN produced at Sligo last week. It's no surprise he turns out under a penalty as he'll be raised by far more than the 5lb extra he has to carry and a quick follow-up looks likely.
