A step up in trip and the application of blinkers can see ISTIQDAAM in the winners' enclosure; the horse to chase him home could be Severio who looked all at sea on Southwell's surface last time out. The selection shaped with much more promise at Catterick last time out and looks as if this longer trip will draw out even more improvement. This beautifully-bred individual has plenty of stamina on his dam's side and looks worth siding with. Social Rhythm comes here in good form although his latest run has not really been franked, Catcher Of Dreams needs watching closely on this first start in a handicap and this former Irish runner steps up in trip, whilst On The Loose is potentially well-treated on this UK debut. Monaco Mistress needs to improve for this longer trip, and a bigger danger may be Severio. This Captain Rio filly should be very much at home on this soft ground and she has shaped as if this longer trip will bring about a big run. Not a strong contest by any means and the top-weight Istiqdaam looks worth chancing.
