Verdict

It is difficult to choose between the two runners from Jim Goldie's stable in Blown It and Music Festival with marginal preference for the latter who has been in better form of late. Schoolboy Champ is only 1lb higher than when scoring over the minimum trip at Ffos Las recently but is probably better over five furlongs, while Tracy Waggott's Captain Royale now seems too high in the handicap after a consistent spell. Dianne Sayer's Call Of Duty has been running well of late and has claims but is not certain to appreciate the drop in trip, while Linda Perratt's Berbice could probably do with some help from the handicapper. The vote then goes the way of CHEYENNE RED from the yard of Michael Dods, who has his runners in better form now, and he looks worth siding with over a trip that suits, especially having been dropped a few pounds by the handicapper.
