    Verdict

Makinson Lane is a brother to a 5f winner and Mazeppa is a half-brother to Monday's winning stablemate Act Your Shoe Size. Both may figure on their debuts but Kevin Ryan won last year's renewal with subsequent Two-Year-Old Trophy winner Bogart and his 185,000 dollar purchase BAPAK BESAR may be good enough to score on his introduction. Party Royal was beaten three lengths at Chester on his first start and should finish closer while improvement is also expected from Hitherto and Cappadocia.
