        Verdict

        William Haigh scored on his racecourse debut in May over a mile at Southwell. This is a much different test and he'll be a short enough price to follow-up so a chance is take on HIGH RESOLUTION. He landed a hat-trick at Hamilton last summer and has raced in better company than this since. The return to this lower grade coupled with the 7lb claim of a decent apprentice could see him back in the winners' enclosure. Petsas Pleasure has claims from the bottom of the weights and Mariners Lodge has scope for improvement after nearly three months off the track.
