        Verdict

        BACCARAT looked an improved colt when winning over 7f at York on his return to action. Today's longer trip shouldn't be a problem and the re-opposing Ardmay has since franked the form with a win at Haydock. Dangers abound not least Stellar Express who bids for a hat-trick after a recent double at Nottingham though Xinbama steps up in distance on the back of his recent victories over 7f which included a defeat of Lady Layla at Haydock. Satanic Beat was a clear winner at Pontefract last time and can also figure along with the less exposed Basseterre who won with a bit in hand at Haydock last month and looks the main threat.
