LETS ROLL, the winner of this race in 2005 and 2006 under Saleem Golam, is reunited with the jockey today and gets our vote over Torphichen and Gordonsville. Chris Thornton's seven-year-old is rated 78 now and having won off a mark of 86 when winning this race in 2006, he looks attractively handicapped. Whilst it is a worry that he hasn't been in the winner¿s enclosure since, the gelding acts on this ground and can return to winning ways. Torphichen has a very different profile; Michael Jarvis' unexposed and seemingly progressive colt comes here on the back of a good win at Leicester and whilst that maiden may not have been exceptional, with the ground to suit he cannot be dismissed lightly. Gordonsville is very consistent but ultimately tends to find one too good, whilst Red Wine needs a bigger field and strong pace ideally to be seen at his best. Rosbay has missed a couple of recent engagements for this so watch the market carefully, whilst Tarkheena Prince and Propinquity are others to tread carefully with. Recent Salisbury winner Lady Sorcerer is another for the now lengthy shortlist however we will go with heart over head and go with Lets Roll.
