Judd Street finished just in front of Kings College Boy at Sandown last week and even on revised terms may not do so today with the draw favouring Richard Fahey's gelding who gets the vote ahead of Effective. The last mentioned has been in cracking form of late but gave the impression at Goodwood last month that the handicapper may now have his measure. Divine Spirit has a dreadful draw in box one, while Pomfret Lad is probably better over further and of more interest may be Grigorovitch, who is only 4lbs higher than when scoring at Musselburgh last month and probably found the ground too soft at Doncaster last time. A market move for Trick Cyclist would be of interest, while Maktavish has slipped to a fair mark for his belated return but a safer bet looks to be Kings College Boy, who has the best of the draw and is holding his form well.
