In depth

Verdict

This looks tricky with doubts concerning the leading contenders. Take It To The Max has the ability to win this but a wide draw is not ideal as he likes to race up with the pace and Santefisio still looks a shade high in the weights given he's won just once since 2009. Today's longer trip could prove a problem for the veteran Beckermet and Toto Skyllachy has a bit to find with the top weight on earlier running. SAM SHARP went very close at Newbury off today's mark the last time he encountered fast ground back in May and he gets the tentative vote with Crown Counsel another who could figure if back to his best.
