Verdict

CIRCUS CLOWN has shown progressive form since joining Jim Goldie and sent handicapping. He won here last month before defying a 7lb penalty five days later when beating a subsequent winner at Kelso. A further 11lb hike in the weights may not be enough to prevent him landing his hat-trick and he makes more appeal than stablemate Arctic Court who needs a longer trip to show his best. Double Eagle scored at Carlisle recently when Livvy Inn was a faller and he could figure, but Kempski has disappointed since winning at Hexham in November. Teenage Idol won over 2m here in January and there should be more to come from him.
