Verdict

LAYLA JOAN has an ideal pedigree for this job and followed her point-to-point victory at Glenbane with impressive successes over hurdles here and at Fairyhouse. She's hardly been off the bridle in any of those victories and though facing a much stiffer test is taken to complete a four-timer. Her compatriot Fine Rightly looks a major threat as he was awarded a Grade 2 Navan bumper in December before having a very easy task on his hurdling debut on this course last month. It should be a cracking race between the two Irish raiders as though both Mysteree and Askamore Darsi are decent performers it's unlikely they have the quality to take on the principals at this stage.
