Verdict

Mysterious Wonder beat Hills Of Dakota at Hamilton last month with Rock Canyon further behind but today's soft ground is a worry. Music Festival finished ahead of Done Dreaming when third at Redcar but he'd also prefer faster going. Black Douglas has place claims again but a tentative vote goes to ORWELLIAN. Bryan Smart's charge is back on a winning mark having shown signs of a revival at Redcar last time and last year's course and distance win came in soft ground.
