Verdict

Jim Goldie holds a strong hand with FORREST FLYER looking the pick of his pair. He came home unchallenged here last time but has only been raised 6lb and the gelding enjoys a good record at this venue on quick ground. Stablemate Hawdyerwheesht continues to perform with credit and Joe Fanning is a good booking for the five-year-old but the main obstacle to a Goldie success looks to be Muharrer. A lightly-raced sort, he was far from disgraced at Thirsk behind the useful Fennell Bay last time in a better race. The others all have a bit to prove now.
