Verdict

SPIRIT OF A NATION looks to have an easier task than when beaten a length at this track last time. Jim Goldie's charge is fancied to go one better in this company at the main expense of Romany Ryme, third at Carlisle on his latest outing and dropping down a grade today. Bangor winner Moufatango hasn't raced since 2011 and Master Murphy may need more time after finishing tailed off on his comeback at Kelso. Sam Lord has lost his way since landing a double at Sedgefield in December but Mac Steamy could make the frame if back to his best.
