In depth

Verdict

It often pays to go with Ruth Carr runners when they hit form so Amazing Blue Sky looks to have every chance of following up a convincing Newcastle success when well backed. He's been in good form throughout the past month but ST IGNATIUS is a viable alternative. He had hardly beaten a rival on five outings before turning up at Brighton last time to deliver a staying-on third behind the in-form Green Earth. He's tumbled to a very attractive mark and Natasha Eaton, claiming a further 5lb, has partnered the selection to success in two of his last three victories. Elizabeth Coffee found some form last time behind Curly Come Home at Doncaster after a series of modest efforts whilst course and distance winner Barton Bounty also merits respect.
