In depth

Verdict

A chance is taken with Forrest Flyer, who is selected ahead of Kyber and Bijou Dan, while support of Inch High would also be interesting. Jim Goldie (who also sends out Jane Of Arc and Kyber) has seen Inch High perform with credit over hurdles during the last couple of years and it is an interesting move switching the gelding back to the Flat now there is a bit of give underfoot. A careful monitoring of the betting is advised. Bijou Dan likes this course and is still on a fair mark. This is tougher than the seller he won last time out but, as he is obviously in good form, he is respected as a threat. Kyber picks up a penalty for winning at Musselburgh six days ago and has to be shortlisted as a danger. Jim Goldie is again strongly represented, with this tough seven-year-old spearheading his challenge on this occasion. However, Forrest Flyer is also at the top of his game at present time and a repeat of his demolition of the 71-rated Calzaghe from his penultimate start would make Linda Perratt's charge very hard to beat today.
