Verdict

Forrest Flyer has won five times here and enjoys a massive pull in the weights than when finishing last of three behind stablemate Grand Diamond here in July. Medieval Bishop won at Thirsk and Newcastle before finding the competition too hot at York and can't be ignored but BEAT THE TIDE looks the one to beat as he won over track and trip in July and is relatively lightly raced. He got outpaced in a tactical affair over a shorter trip at Ripon last month but there should be enough pace for him in this. Arr' Kid is getting closer to a first victory but may need to drop a couple of pounds.
