Ventura made hard work of things last time out and has a bit to find so despite likely improvement, we will pass her over and side with Pintle ahead of Impetious. The selection can be hit and miss but her overall profile (8 wins in 27 starts) suggests that a big run is forthcoming and with the ground to suit, she is fancied to score. She has won in various field sizes and as she gets on well with jockey Kerrin McEvoy, we will side with her today. Perfect Star is improving all the time however this is a tougher race now back over a mile, whilst Gold Hush is likely to feature prominently in the betting. Sir Michael Stoute's filly drops in trip today however that doesn't look ideal as stamina looks to be her forte. Passion Fruit is arguably better over seven furlongs, whilst Contentious needs to bounce back from a disappointing recent effort. Irish challenger Impetious displayed an admirable attitude when winning in Germany last time and should be monitored for market support, however whilst Apply Dapply should again run her race, it is Pintle who receives our nomination.
