    Verdict

LIMATO (NAP) won all four starts in his first campaign, landing Listed contests over this trip at Newbury and Redcar in the autumn with the proverbial ton in hand. He could be a force to be reckoned with in the top sprints this year and can keep his unbeaten record intact. Beacon won four times as a juvenile, including the Group 2 Flying Childers at Doncaster in September. But he's yet to prove effective over 6f and carries a 5lb penalty. Stablemate Burnt Sugar may not have trained on while the speedy Strath Burn is another who may always be best at the minimum trip. Markaz was beaten by Angelic Lord at Doncaster in September but did win here in July and was third in a Group 3 over 7f at Newmarket on his final start last year. The filly Tendu will do well to beat the boys on her seasonal reappearance.
