Verdict

Nathaniel and Taghrooda are the only three-year-olds to win this in the last 10 years and John Gosden trained both. He's represented by the unbeaten GOLDEN HORN this year and the latter is hard to oppose. A convincing Derby success at Epsom was followed by an equally impressive win in the Eclipse at Sandown and he should have the measure of these. Stablemate Eagle Top was fourth in last year's renewal but, along with Postponed and Romsdal, was behind Snow Sky when the latter won the Hardwicke Stakes over course and distance last month. Andre Fabre's Flintshire is dual Group 1 winner and should be more at home at this track than he was at Epsom last month but the remainder look up against it at this level including the Italian Group 1 winner Dylan Mouth.
