Verdict

A very tricky opener can go the way of Bahama Mama over Bicoastal, with Medley, Silk Blossom, Scarlet Runner and Sander Camillo all respected. Jeremy Noseda saddled the first two home in this event 12 months ago, and has a strong hand again with another brace, Sander Camillo and Bahama Mama. Preference is for the latter who is unbeaten in both starts to date, including a head victory over Bicoastal at Newmarket last month. The selection has since followed up at Brighton, although the opposition was not up to much, while Brian Meehan's filly went on to land a soft-ground maiden at headquarters with Scarlet Runner back in eighth. That one has since come out to win as well, which shows that there is plenty of improvement in all of these young ladies, and it is difficult to gauge which ones will have come on the most. Add the likes of Silk Blossom and Riverside Dancer to the equation and you have the makings of a really hard race for punters to fathom, especially when the Queen has a runner as well in the shape of Medley, winner of her only outing to date at Windsor. All in all, bets are best kept to the minimum here, with Bahama Mama selected to complete the hat-trick.
