Verdict

Nocturn still showed signs of inexperience when winning his maiden at Windsor last time and let the eventual runner-up go past him at one point. He won cosily in the end but will pay for any lack of concentration in this company and is taken on with NASSAU STORM. The latter has been unlucky to find one too good in higher grade races than this on his last couple of starts including Mezzotint at Windsor last time and is fancied to get his head back in front here. Yeow also drops in class after his creditable second at Pontefract while Jack Who's He and Church Music were both placed in similar company on their latest starts. There's little between Fast Finian and Royal Reyah, third and fourth respectively at Windsor last time, but Lady Gibraltar will find this tougher having scored at Lingfield on her latest start.
