      Verdict

      Not the strongest Listed event and WINTER'S NIGHT and Primevere may fight out the finish. Preference is for the former who has shown ability on ground with cut as well as enjoying a pleasing season to date. She landed a decent handicap here on reappearance and has since delivered quality efforts in good company, including a Listed event at the Royal meeting. Primevere is unproven on the ground but continues to progress with racing and it was a good effort to hunt up Nahrain last time with useful sorts behind. Sooraah can be forgiven her Hunt Cup run as she was drawn on the wrong side but looks a threat on her otherwise very decent form this term. However, she may just fail to concede the weight to the aforementioned younger rivals.
