Verdict

Join The Navy is probably only making up the numbers here unless something drastic happens to the others. O'faolains Boy could easily turn out the best of these if taking to the larger obstacles as his only defeat over hurdles last season came when fourth in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham. But he looks an out-and-out stayer and hasn't raced for a while so we'll stick with the experience of EASTER DAY, who easily won a novices' handicap at Newbury last month and is worth trying at this higher level. Baby Mix took the step up in distance at Kempton in his stride and is suited by small fields so can't be ignored.
