Anthony Honeyball's Gan On won well when beating Love Of Tara on his reappearance at Plumpton earlier this month but he looks a shade high in the weights on a mark of 112 for his debut in a handicap and preference is for RAVELLO BAY, who gets the vote with Caoba rated the best of the rest. The selection showed a decent level of form in bumpers two seasons ago and over hurdles last term and with Nicky Henderson's team in good from, he looks worth backing on his return to action. Daraz Rose won well at Uttoxeter last time but a 9lb rise for that success makes following up more difficult, while Alan King's Gold Reef could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Emma Lavelle's Easter Legend is less exposed than most of these after just seven career starts and has to be considered with the yard in good heart. She makes more appeal than Lucinda Russell's Zaffarella, who is likely to find this tougher off a 10lb higher mark than when successful at Hexham last time. Victor Dartnall's Caoba ran creditably on his reappearance when a close third behind Amber Brook at Wincanton earlier this month and he has solid claims but preference is for Ravello Bay for the in-form, Nicky Henderson yard.
