      Verdict

Western Hymn was sixth in the Derby at Epsom earlier this month and brings classic form into the mix. He beat Lingfield Derby Trial winner Snow Sky and Scotland at Newbury in the spring and must have some sort of chance if recent exertions haven't taken their toll. Odeon and Bunker were fourth and fifth behind subsequent French Derby winner The Grey Gatsby in the Dante at York but this is a step up for Newmarket handicap winner Miner's Lamp and Italian Derby winner Dylan Mouth is more interesting, despite his penalty. ADELAIDE easily picked off the front-running Mekong River at the Curragh last month and is bred for this longer trip. He's unexposed and progressing nicely and can take this for Ballydoyle.
