This looks a typically competitive renewal of the Wokingham with plenty of the 31 runners having claims including High Standing, Zidane and Sohraab but that trio all have high draws and the indication from earlier in the week is that a low draw is an advantage so it is JIMMY STYLES that gets the vote. Clive Cox has his team in great from at present and having won well at Newmarket last time, Jimmy Styles has solid claims of defying the penalty for that success, especially given his draw in stall one. Had he been better drawn, High Standing would have gone close to being the selection but being berthed in stall 28 may be his undoing. Roger Charlton's Genki is better drawn in stall 10 but he was well beaten behind J J The Jet Plane at Windsor last time. Henry Candy's Markab is probably a shade high in the weights at present, while Asset is hard to recommend given the form of Godolphin's runners at present. Anything saddled by David Nicholls in a big sprint handicap has to be considered and he has several with claims here with Something looking the pick of his quintet but it is Jimmy Styles that is preferred.
