This will be run at a tremendous pace and Starlit Sands, who has shown remarkable early pace can land this event from Regal Step and Polar Circle. Sir Mark Prescott's charge stepped up on her Thirsk maiden victory to land a very competitive Novice Stakes at Catterick. On the face of it the form should not be good enough to win a Group two at Royal Ascot, but the speed she displayed and the many of victory, suggests she can make a big impact this afternoon. Like last season Peter Chapple-Hyam has a very good bunch of juveniles and there was a lot to like about Polar Circle's debut win at Newbury. She was always in charge and just needed a couple of slaps to go on and win the race readily. The same can be said of Regal Step, who made all to win unchallenged at Nottingham. Many others including the Barry Hills trained Monaazalah, are open to improvement as they only seen a racecourse once and so it is not with too much confidence that we make Starlit Sands the selection.
