Verdict

It's no surprise that Tom Queally has chosen York winner Chachamaidee ahead of stablemate Jacqueline Quest but Sir Henry Cecil's filly could only finish third to I'm A Dreamer at Newmarket on her reappearance and was only fifth behind Seta at Sandown in August. Luca Cumani's prolific winner is certainly one for the short-list here having beaten Anna Salai at Goodwood in April. The latter represents Godolphin who also have Sajjhaa in the field. The mount of Frankie Dettori, the King's Best filly was second in a Listed race at this track in September on good to soft ground and ran a cracker on her return to action in a Group 2 at York when second to Midday. MUSIC SHOW was back in fourth on the Knavesmire but that was over 1m2f which is too far for Mick Channon's charge, who can have her revenge over this trip. Fourth in last year's Coronation Stakes when forced to race wide, she always gives of her best and is a Group 1 winner without a penalty which must count for something in this grade.
