Verdict

Burnham has often been the subject of market confidence during his career and his long-suffering followers finally got their victory as he kept on well to score at Chepstow. The handicapper has raised him 5lb for those labours so it remains to be seen if he can prosper for getting his head in front. Muffin Mcleay dropped a heavy hint at Ripon but he seems high enough in the handicap at present so COME ON BLUE CHIP is chanced at the likely odds. Paul D'Arcy's four-year-old is at his best with fast ground obtaining and having obliged at Windsor earlier in the season, he has gone on to be placed on two further occasions. Ogbourne Downs has recorded two victories from his three starts and has been returned at big prices on both occasions. Commend has tended to come to hand at this part of the season and connections will be hoping that the cheekpieces can work where the visor has previously failed.
