SOVEREIGN DEBT has gone up 3lb since finishing second over a mile at Doncaster but showed he handled soft ground that day, which is a massive plus in his favour. He is fancied to go one better here as the likes of Tidentime, Abishena and Elusive Flame have yet to prove suited by the going. Perfect Step won on good to soft at Newmarket, however, while Lord Ofthe Shadows should improve for his comeback run at Kempton and it would be no surprise to see a big run from Moon Pearl as his stable has started the season strongly and he was quite highly tried as a juvenile.
