Magical Speedfit is 4lbs higher than when third in this race last year but should give it another good go as he's holding his form well whilst Ancient Cross must go close in this company but doesn't win often enough so is more of an each-way play if the price allows. Humidor and Mayoman are in great heart but JUST FOR MARY's second to Santo Padre from a 2lb higher mark in August of last year reads well in the context of this race and his last two wins have come on testing ground. Invincible Lad could go well if the headgear has the desired effect, Fair Passion is of keen interest on her return to racing on turf whilst Arctic Lynx is open to plenty of improvement unlike Rapid Water who is becoming disappointing.
