    Verdict

Communicator was last seen finishing third in the Chester Cup so it's strange to see him take a big drop in distance for this following a break. Proud Chieftain's best form is over shorter while Presburg has never won beyond 1m2f on Turf. That is also Cashpoint's best trip while Charles Camoin is another with possible stamina issues if there is a decent gallop. All of GRANDORIO's runs so far this season have come at York but he hasn't beaten far in any of them after a pipe-opener in May. He's versatile as to trip, having been placed over 2m last time, and looks a decent bet in this near the foot of the weights. Gone Dutch is a bit of a Polytrack specialist and would need one to drop out to get a run but is in decent form overall, as is fellow reserve Dolphin Village who had Semeen well behind at Thirsk in June.
