Verdict

There are several expensive yearlings in this opener. Ajmal Ihsaas cost 100,000gns and is a half-sister to three winners including juvenile sprinter Dare To Dream. Peace And War changed hands for $300,000 and has plenty of speed in her pedigree, as has Crawford Avenue, but the likes of Hikayati and Kinematic will do better over further. Dangerous Moonlite represents the Hannon/Hughes combination but she's nothing special on breeding and preference is for FALLING PETALS. She's a sister to a winning miler but is also closely related to smart 6f winner Huntdown and her dam won over that trip as a two-year-old. Stinky Socks was second on debut at Bath but more will be needed in this.
