Verdict

GARSWOOD travelled strongly throughout and won the Listed Harry Roseberry at Ayr with a bit in hand. The going was heavy that day and, with conditions likely to be testing again, he can make further progress and take this. Bungle Inthejungle sets the standard after his close second to Sir Prancealot in the Flying Childers though he has a Group 3 penalty to carry and his only moderate efforts have been on soft ground. Fire Eyes is held on that Doncaster run while The Taj will need to improve again after his C&D nursery success and, like Lucky Beggar, was behind Liber at Bath earlier. The latter should be better suited by reverting back to the minimum trip while El Manati set a blistering pace over 6f at Salisbury before fading in the closing stages.
