Verdict

Uncle Jimmy won on his reappearance at Newton Abbot but this quicker going could be a problem. A softer surface also suits Dreams Of Milan while Hollow Tree was due to run here yesterday. Recent winners Rolling Maul and Deadly Sting have more on their plate here but Dawn Commander is interesting. He won in this grade at Doncaster in March and followed up over this track and trip in May but hasn't raced since. Upswing landed a gamble at Newbury in February, when Flicka Williams was pulled up, but is another for whom conditions can't be too testing. PECKHAMECHO has dropped to a fair mark and made a satisfactory return at Chepstow following a year off. Providing that hasn't taken too much out of him and he stays the extra half-mile, he can go one better in this.
