In depth

Verdict

Tara Royal was an early faller at Ayr last month and still looks too high in the weights but West With The Wind has a touch of class and can confirm Ffos Las running with Rio Gael last summer. Oceana Gold returned from his winter break to score at Wincanton and has to be respected but this may be a little too tough for Mr Syntax, who was well beaten over a longer trip at Haydock last month. LIDAR jumped really well out in front at Ayr last time but again gave the impression that 2m4f stretches his stamina. Back over the minimum, Alan King's charge could take some catching around here.
