In depth

Verdict

This is a very competitive affair but Forgotten Gold should be capable of a bold showing if reproducing his latest second to Mon Parrain at Cheltenham, though he is error-prone. Bear's Affair is lightly raced but this looks too short for stayers Any Currency and Fredo while Roc De Guye is upped in class. Diocles has won two of his last three but may have stamina issues. Quinz hinted at a revival at Kempton earlier this month but Richard Johnson prefers BALLYTOBER, even though his mount carries a penalty. The latter idled in front when winning at Worcester nine days ago and may be worth following now he's got his head in front. Problema Tic is back on a decent mark and, with his yard in great form, could be the danger.
