Verdict

Hunter Chases are never the easiest to judge but this looks the definition tough but we'll take BROOKLYN BREEZE to score a head of Itzacliche and Rowdy Yeats. The riding skills of top amateur Oliver Greenall will be a major plus in the selection's favour as will be his good strike rate at this track and over this trip. He did win off a mark six pounds heavier three starts ago and although this represents a much tougher assignment his yard had a good campaign last term so he should go well. Itzacliche is better than his last run suggested and is another potential well treated if racing to his best. Like the pick he has more to beat this time than when winning on his penultimate start but he loves these conditions and this trip. Rowdy Yeats has been on top form and running against some fair opposition recently. He looks to be at his best over sharper trips than this but you couldn't rule out a big run in his current mood. This might be a stamina stretch for Holly Walk but she too is running close to her best at the moment and her best should be needed to beat Brooklyn Breeze.
