Secret Circle has the measure of his rivlals in the Sprint
Secret Circle completed a double for Bob Baffert and Martin Garcia at Santa Anita on Saturday when winning the Breeders' Cup Sprint.
The successful rider always had his partner in the perfect position and made a decisive move over a furlong out.
Laugh Track thundered home for second but the winner had gone beyond recall with Gentlemen's Bet third.
"I had a really good trip. My horse was outside and the whole field was inside of me. I took advantage from there because I knew I had the best horse. I saw the other horse (Laugh Track) coming up on the outside and my horse started messing around, but by then it was too late to beat me," Garcia beamed.
"This horse doesn't like to lose," Baffert added of his tenth Breeders' Cup winner and fourth in this race.
Baffert and Garcia combined earlier to win the Juvenile with New Year's Day.
