Moore: Took the spoils
Richard Fahey and Ryan Moore teamed up to take one of the week's most valuable prizes in the £100,000 Betfred The Bonus King Handicap at Newmarket.
Heaven's Guest, a 7/1 chance, travelled well behind the pace but Moore unleashed him with a powerful challenge down the centre of the track that saw him pounce on 6/1 favourite Moviesta and score by a head after a good battle.
Fahey ran three in the six-furlong race and also claimed third with Rene Mathis (33/1).
"His owner is desperate to win an Ayr Gold Cup and he was bought for that," said Fahey. "He's a horse who knows how to win and that's vital. He's in the Stewards' Cup and will probably go there now."
Significantly ahead of Saturday's Darley July Cup, there did not appear to be a great deal of advantage to being drawn on any part of the course.
