Edinburgh Knight: Won by a neck
Edinburgh Knight (7-1) swooped late under Jim Crowley to win the listed Come To Kempton On Boxing Day Hyde Stakes at Kempton on Wednesday.
Paul d'Arcy's four-year-old was held up in the early stages by Crowley but he made his way through the field travelling well and had enough left in the tank to see off The Shrew (8-1) by a neck.
Clinical was the well-backed 3-1 favourite and she raced prominently throughout, but he had no answer to the finishing kick of the front two in the closing stages and finished third.
