Pascal Bary's Testosterone won the Group Three Prix de Royaumont Stakes at Chantilly.
The daughter of Dansili was soon moved up to take the lead by Stephane Pasquier in the mile and a half contest with Mickael Barzalona holding up the Andre Fabre-trained favourited Avongrove in last.
Pasquier kicked from the front aboard the filly who only had her first race in April of this season and never looked like being caught in the final two furlongs to gain a first Pattern race success.
Avongrove, wearing the Godolphin silks, tried to make her move in the straight but never looked like reeling in the winner and her run flattened out as she could finish only fourth with Chegei Has and Campanillas filling the places.
