Far Away So Close (far side) gets up to win
Far Away So Close (14-1) won the John Smith's Handicap Hurdle for Paul Nolan at Aintree.
The six-year-old was given an excellent ride from the front by Michael Doran and was game in his response when headed by Jack Cool (7-1) on the run-in.
The game Gigginstown Stud-horse got back up to win by a neck with Via Galilei a further 14 lengths back in third.
Total Excitement was fourth at 40-1.
